The issues relating to women have been talked about for generations now, but have we really been able to take up issues relating to women? This is far from the contrary and it is up to women to see there are discussions held on such issues. Women in high positions in the societies today and they can do their bit to address them.
With the increasing number of high positions held by women in many countries, I think women themselves can help other women by bringing up women issues in offices. Women as such is considered to be a lower sex than men and addressing their issues can bring about changes and improvement in their lot.
In the arena of politics, women issues in offices are rarely discussed because of women being a minority and women in higher positions thinking that they want to follow the crowd. Women should understand that they should help the persons of their sex and make attempts to discuss their issues in offices.
Women can power can encourage and help bring more women to occupy high positions and help to bring about a positive change. Women, being free of the habit of corruption and also being strong willed by nature can use it to their advantage in bringing about such changes. They can use their power to look deeply into and address women issues.
At the time of mistrust being placed on politicians and people in power, because of failure to keep up to their promises made, women can be corruption free and also change their views. Women can become organized and well-equipped to make a significant change in women issues in offices. Media would be an effective channel to put across their issues.
They can make sure that the media addresses women issues in offices by giving full coverage of all women activist organizations. Keeping the media informed of such activities would surely help. Women should also be trained to conduct press conferences and to state the facts affecting them.
Besides they should be trained to face rude facts addressed by the interviewer and manage a decent appeal to the electorate.
Women would do well to address women issues in offices by managing time restrictions well and being prompt to inform the press of the time when such activities are conducted.
But I do think it is difficult to address women issues in offices as the women themselves consider other women as their rivals. Firstly, many women due to their minority find it difficult to address such issues.
Secondly, women come up in their professions in a hard way themselves and they find that it is none of their business to address women issues in offices. It is wrong for women in power to adopt such a selfish attitude towards other women.
