Men truly do not realize all that a woman does for her husband and family. For as long as we can all remember, in the olden days, women were the ones who ran the household while the men went off to work to support the family.
Through the years women have evolved and their roles have changed, but for the most part they are still the nurturing ones. Let's face it, most men do not carry the nurturing gene that women do, that gene that allows us to walk into a room full of screaming kids and take control in less than 5 minutes.
Women truly have to uphold more than one full time job daily and most of those jobs go un-noticed. Women play the role as nurse and doctor all rolled into one when one of her offspring or even her husband falls ill. She is right there to give out the medicine and to make sure that you get the right food to have you feeling better in no time at all.
A woman can run the household with ease as well, even when she works a full time job. She will work all day and come home to play housemaid, getting dinner ready while cleaning up the house. She then will sit and genuinely be excited to hear how everyone weathered their day.
She will be there to go over homework and to help everyone get ready for bed. She is generally the one who runs the household with ease and with little help.
There are many men out there that step up to the plate and do their share of daily chores and such but it all just seems to fall into place for women as they have that nurturing gene.
You will see that women are the ones that generally do the child rearing for the younger children as it is in their nature. They have that motherly instinct that kicks in when the baby is still growing inside of them and it just keeps going long after the baby arrives.
She can play both the good cop and the bad cop when it comes to parenting and she will love unconditionally with all of her heart and sole.
Yes woman have many roles to play in their daily life: nurse, doctor, mom, teacher, wife, maid and employee. So the next time you reach for that soap in the bathroom, stop and think about how it got there and take a minute to thank the "fairy" who magically put it there.
Remember to show her that you really do notice all that she does and that she is appreciated as a mother, lover, wife and friend.
The next time the woman in your life seems to be a bit tired, help her kick up her feet and help her to relax. After all she needs some TLC every now and then to keep her batteries charged and ready to go.
