How To Find Time To Exercise

Women today lead very fast paced, busy lives. Most of us have a full schedule and it can be very difficult to find time to get in some exercise to keep our bodies in shape.

Women do not have time for themselves; as they are so busy taking care of the family as well; as working full time jobs to help make ends meet. When mom has a free moment it is usually used to run errands or to go grocery shopping. She doesn't have time to think about a good workout.

Studies have shown time and time again that exercise will help to reduce stress as well as help to keep you in shape and healthy. Your body will better fight off cold and viruses when it is in shape and healthy. So just how do you find the time to exercise?

You can squeeze in a few minutes here and there during the day without having to disrupt your daily schedule. Many women think that they cannot exercise if they do not have a full 30 to 60 minutes to devote to working out. That is not true as you can do 5 minutes here and 6 minutes there.

You can work your stomach muscles while you are sitting at your desk at work as well as while doing chores around the house. When you are doing the chores around the house be sure and turn on some music.

You can get a great workout in while dusting and vacuuming as you listen to some upbeat music. The music will help you speed things up and you can even get in a few dances in while your work.

This will kill two birds with one stone as you get a great cardio workout and get your home sparkling at the same time while not taking away from your daily routine.

Another great way to sneak in time for exercise is to change a few simple things in your day such as parking at the far end of the parking lot so you have to walk an extra bit to get to work.

You can take the stairs instead of the elevator, giving your legs a great workout as if you were doing a stair master workout. You can also use your lunch break to get in a power walk. A long as you get moving for a few minutes several times a day, you will end up getting in a full workout.

There are many ways to get in a workout; you just need to be creative as to where you can fit in the few minutes here and there. If you are a person who plans her day out then you may want to just try blocking off a spot on your schedule for time to exercise.

This way you are fitting it into your schedule and you will make time for it. So get up and start moving to get a healthier you.
